Heraa Khan vit et travaille à Lahore, au Pakistan. Elle a reçu son BFA de l'Ecole nationale des Beaux-arts de Lahore. Elle a étudié les techniques de la miniature Persane et Mughal, peinture traditionnelle, qui exige de la discipline et de l'attention pour apposer soigneusement les différentes couhes de couleur. Son travail est une tentative de transformer une forme traditionnelle d'art vers de l'art contemporain.
Heraa Khan a participé à plusieurs expositions de groupe orgnisées au Pakistan, et, en 2012, sa première exposition solo intitulée, "Ensemble Seul". Elle a aidé la célèbre peintre en miniatures, Aisha Khalid, pour son exposition à la galerie Corvi Mora - Londres.
Elle a aussi exposée à la Biennale de Sharjah - Emirats Arabes Unis , à la galerie Withworth - Manchester, à la galerie Isabelle - Dubaï , à Art Basel- Hongkong et la Biennale de Moscou.
Heraa Khan lives and works in Lahore, Pakistan. She received her BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore. She has studied the techniques of the traditional Persian and Mughal miniature painting, which requires discipline, attention to detail a careful layering of color. Her work is an attempt to personalize and transform the traditional form of art into contemporary art.
Khan has shown her work in several group shows across the country and has had one solo show in 2012 titled, 'Together Alone’. She has assisted the renowned miniature painter Aisha Khalid for her solo show at Corvi Mora gallery London, Sharjah Biennale 2011, Withworth art gallery Manchester, solo show at Isabelle Gallery Dubai UAE, Art Basel Hongkong, and Moscow Biennale, Moscow.
